Nigerian veteran singer, Paul Okoye known professionally as Rudeboy has tested negative for Covid-19 after an 11-day battle.

Rudeboy revealed the news via a statement on his Instagram page on the 6th of January 2021 where he stated “2021 pls don’t over hype it ohhhh”, he made reference to 2020 being overhyped and it didn’t turn out well. He also wished fans a happy new year.

To put fans at ease regarding the state of his health, he made the statement on his Instagram page. He said;

“Happy new year all  2021 pls don’t over hype it ohhhh  abeg …… just take it easy as it comes  na over hype spoil 2020  I’m better, stronger, tested negative after 11days ”

We can recall, Rudeboy previously made a statement about battling Covid-19 for 10 days on his Instagram page on the 6th of January 2021.
