igeria’s Super Eagles lock horns with Egypt on Tuesday in Garoua as Group D of the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations kicked off .

Leicester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho’s goal scored for Nigeria in the 30th minute of the game, with a shot into the top-left corner of the goalpost.

Iheanaho scored the brilliant through an assist from Taiwo Awoniyi.

Super Eagles dominated the first quarter of the game, pinning down Egypt’s and Liverpool main man, Mohamed Salah.

In the 25th minute, Moses Simon missed an opportunity, hitting the side net.

Awoniyi narrowly scored the Super Eagles’ second goal in the 37th and 41st minutes but was stopped by Egypt’s goalkeeper, El Shenawy.
