Africa Facts Zone has made available a list of most followed African personalities on Twitter amd it’s quite an interesting one.

The list is dominated by Egyptians who occupy 6 slots out of the top 8 revealed.

With Egypt dominance, you don’t even need to be told who is ranking at the number one position.

Mohammed Salah leads the way with 15.5 million twitter followers despite having a battle with South Africa’s Trevor Noah who sits second with 11.6 million.

When it comes to people representing West Africa, Only Davido and Wizkid made it as the two Nigerian acts sits comfortably at 7 and 8 respectively.

Davido has 10 million followers compared to that of Wizkid’s 9 million.
