A Nigerian woman, identified as Emilia Phillips, has reportedly died in a tragic house fire alongside her three children.

It was gathered that the sad incident occurred on Monday, February 21, after fire broke out in their Kaduna home at midnight.

The deceased widow, her three children and her niece were reportedly asleep when the fire engulfed their home and burnt them to death.

Her husband, who was identified as Sunday Philip, is said to have slumped and died in August 2021.

Taking to Facebook to mourn the deceased family, an acquittance named Confidence Shammah wrote,

“OH GOD teach us how to number our days!Kai Mutuwa……..May God grant your gentle souls eternal rest my dearest Emilia Philips, Kids and niece all burnt while asleep the entire household is gone what a tragedy!.
For my bosom friend Cordelia Echuku Audu take heart God knows best and may he grant all your family members the fortitude to bear this great loss It’s well dear!!!”
