The pandemic has taken away so many things in two years. It has taken thousands of lives, our freedom, and our normal lives and now that everything is slowly going back to normal, people are taking advantage of the freedom and the new normal.

For two years, people are not allowed to organize mass gathering or to travel and the recent holidays proved that people missed going out and going to places just like some of our favorite stars.

Holy week is one of the long holidays in the country where Christians recall the events leading up to Jesus’ death by crucifixion and, according to their faith, his Resurrection. This also opens up an opportunity for a long weekend to spend with family and this year, some of our favorite stars spent their holy week by the beach or out of the country.

Couple Angel Locsin and Neil Arce spent their holy week in Boracay. The actress share some photos on her Instagram account showing off the beauty of the island. They spent the entire weekend there and flew to Tacloban to help victims of typhoon Agaton right after.

Other stars who enjoyed the time off with their family and loved ones are Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid in Balesin Island, Kim Chiu and Xian Lim who enjoyed the beaches in Thailand, Showtime hosts Vice Ganda and partner Ion Perez and Vhong Navarro and his family enjoyed the nightlife in Singapore, Pia Wurtzbach in the United Arab Emirates with beau Jeremy Jauncey!
