Nigerian singer, Davido has revealed how he got his collaboration with American rapper, Nicki Minaj.

He made this known to the public while appearing as guest in The Beat 99.9 FM.

In his words, “I say Nicki I got a hit for us it’s going to go number one I promise”.

In other news, Davido had revealed that he has never met Nicki Minaj, the Trinidadian-born rapper, despite their collaboration on ‘Holy Ground’, a track off ‘A Better Time’ album.

In a recent interview with DJ Carisma, a US-based disc jockey and radio presenter, the omo Baba Olowo crooner  recounted how he linked up with Nicki Minaj via Instagram.

“I have never met Nicki Minaj before we did the record, even till date. I was on Instagram and I think I just had a show, and the record was playing at the time, and I thought Nicki would kill this.

“And randomly her feeds just came on my Instagram. I Dmed her and she replied. She was like I should send it and she sent the song back in two days,” he said.
