“I do not mean any harm to them” – Singer, Portable’s management apologizes oh his behalf for threatening Headies award nominees, retract his statement
The management of controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable, has tendered a public apology to the organizers of Headies Awards 2022 after the singer threatened his co-nominees.
It would be recalled that in May, Portable who was nominated for two award categories ‘Rookie of the Year’ and ‘Best Street-Hop Artiste’, threatened to kill whoever wins the awards he was nominated for.

The threat didn’t sit well with the organizers of the award show and they threatened to disqualify him if he doesn’t retract his statement and publicly apologize for it..
They also disclosed that they have involved the police in the issue.
In response, Portable apologized to the organizers in a video shared on his Instagram page.
Well, his management has now issued a statement to properly apologize and also retract his unguarded statement.
The statement was shared on his official Instagram page with the caption,
“@the_headies @officialhiptv On behalf of myself, my management and the entire Zeh nation I sincerely apologize for my unguarded utterances as I do not mean any harm to the nominees in any way. The video has been deleted on my page and I appreciate all your support so far God bless my Fans God bless the headies #Zehnation #Drzeh”
