Nigerian singer,Tiwa Savage has been honoured with a doctorate degree at the University of Kent in Canterbury, England.

An academic degree for which a university has waived all customary prerequisites is known as an honorary degree. Honoris causa and ad honorem, two Latin terms, are other names for it. It is better known as honorary.
