Rihanna shows love to Tems as she comments on her post after they collaborated on a song
Popular singer, Rihanna have shown unreserved love to Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, after they collaborated on a song.
Tems co-wrote Rihanna’s new song “Lift Me Up”, a soundtrack for the movie, ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.’ The track is Rihanna’s comeback single after a six-year break from the music industry.
Taking to her Instagram page to officially announce her contribution to the song, Tems shared the cover design and said she is blessed to have written the song in honour of late singer, Chadwick Boseman.
The 27-year-old sensational singer wrote,
“Blessed to have written this song in honour of Chadwick Boseman and even more blessed to hear the baddest @badgalriri voice it to perfection”
Interestingly, Rihanna took to the comment section to applaud Tems’ songwriting prowess. She commented, “It’s the pen for me. Love to you sistren.”

Just recently, Tems was credited as a songwriter on American singer, Beyonce’s forthcoming album.
On Wednesday, July 20, Queen Bee finally unveiled the tracklist for her album “Renaissance”, which is scheduled for release on June 29.
The album which is the singer’s seventh studio album has 16 tracks, including previously released club banger “Break My Soul” serving as the sixth track.
In the list of songwriters on the project, Nigeria’s own singer, Tems, was credited as one of the songwriters on the tenth track ‘Move’ under her full name, Temilade Openiyi.
