In a chat between Davido and one of his associates, the singer said that, he was told by the doctors that, his son, Ifeanyi will be be awake in few hours after he reportedly got drowned in their family house pool.

The earlier reports of Ifeanyi’s death

The Nigerian super star, Davido and his baby mama, Chioma have earlier reportedly lost their son, Ifeanyi few days after celebrating his birthday.

According to Peoples Gazette; “The three-year-old drown in a private swimming pool at the family’s residence in Lagos, according to a family source who informed Peoples Gazette about the development.

“The boy was inside water for too long and they pulled him out and rushed him to the hospital,” the family source said under anonymity to await an official statement. “By the time they rushed him to Lagoon Hospital it was already too late.”

The development comes two years after another artist Dapo Oyebanjo, D’banj, lost his son, who similarly drown in the family swimming pool.”

A friend of Davido who has contacted the singer to find out how his son, Ifeanyi is doing being rushed to the hospital was told by the singer that, his son will be awake in few hours by the doctors.
