Morocco Becomes The Second African Country After Ghana To Reach World Cup Quarter Finals
Morocco becomes the second African country after Ghana to reach World Cup Quarter finals since 2010 World Cup which saw Ghana lost in a dramatic game to Uruguay.
Before Morocco, three African countries have reached the quarter-finals; in 1990, it was Cameroon, in 2002, Senegal made it and Ghana in 2010.
Morocco, the only African country left in the Qatar 2022 World Cup won over their competitor, Spain I’m the round of 16 elimination match to book a place in the quarter finals, making them record their first ever highest reach in World Cup tournaments.
The whole of Africa is standing strong behind Morocco, the only representative of the continent left in the ongoing tournament in Qatar.
