Shakira ‘took aim at ex Gerard Pique by including a severed HEAD in a fridge in her music video – after realising he had cheated

Shakira reportedly discovered her ex Gerard Pique’s affair by finding a clue hidden in their fridge, and went onto reference it in one of her music videos.

The singer, 45, who split from the footballer in June after 11 years together, realised her ex was having an affair when discovered a jar of strawberry jam had been eaten while she was away.

Shakira then went onto reference this in a music video for her single Te Felicito in April, which featured a clip of a head of her collaborator Rauw Alejandro inside an open fridge.

Shakira knew that Gerard and their children didn’t like strawberry jam, and so she sussed that someone else had been staying at their home when she found the jar.

Shakira returned home from a period of travelling when she noticed the jam in her fridge had been eaten, and she knew the rest of her family disliked it.

The singer appeared to allude to this in the music video for her single Te Felicito, where she can be seen opening a fridge to be greeted by Rauw’s head.

Gerard has since gone public with his new girlfriend Clara Chia Marti, with Shakira even taking a swipe at her in her new diss track which has since topped Spotify’s Global Charts.

It comes after it was also reported that Shakira has started construction on a wall to separate her home from that of her former mother-in-law’s after her split from Gerard.

Her Spanish property is connected in some areas to that of her former in-laws and she is seeking to separate them, according to Marca.

The outlet reports that a TV camera spotted a cement mixer working around Shakira’s house in Barcelona.

It comes after she set up a terrifying lifesize witch doll on the balcony of her Spanish home which reportedly looks over her former mother in law’s pad.

Shakira released a diss track aimed at her ex with producer Bizarrap, dubbed Shakira Bzrp Music Sessions 53, in Spanish last week.

Residents in the area have reported hearing Shakira ‘blasting the song at full volume’ from her home, which includes lyrics aimed at his new girlfriend.

Shakira, makes it crystal clear she is referring to the 23-year-old her former partner is rumoured to have started dating last year before they split, saying: ‘I’m worth two 22’s. You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo. You traded a Rolex for a Casio.’

While Shakira’s new song features some barbed lyrics aimed at Gerard and his supposed new love Clara Chia Marti, she also includes a few choice words for her ex-mother-in-law.

In the song, she sings the line: ‘You left my mother-in-law as my neighbour, with the press at the door and the debt in the Treasury…’.

It has been reported that the relationship between Shakira and Montserrat Bernabéu [Gerard’s mother] has turned sour after she readily welcomed her son’s new romance.

Twitter has been flooded with reports over the song and the scary-looking witch, which has been placed on her balcony, with many hailing her a ‘petty queen’.

One person wrote: ‘I cba with celebrity gossip but when I tell you that I’m LIVING for this Shakira-Pique smoke…

‘Shakira apparently has a witch figure on the balcony facing her MIL’s home? Go on girl.’

Another said: ‘Something really bad must’ve happened besides the infidelity, Shakira being super direct toward them, the witch, and listening to the song on full volume.

‘I wonder what they do to her poor queen.’

A third wrote: ‘I’m crying. The news think Shakira keeps this witch in her home as a vigil for the mother in law.’

One other said: ‘Shakira is blasting her song exposing her cheating ex Pique on repeat outside her home. She also put a witch on her balcony for some reason.’

Another joked: ‘If Shakira ever wants a real-life witch to be on her balcony to antagonize her ex-in-laws, she can call me.’

A different person said: ‘Looks like Shakira has found a new way to stay at the top of the charts, by channelling her inner witch and unleashing a voodoo-inspired revenge campaign on her ex-mother-in-law’s house. Yalo-lele-leleee!

It was revealed earlier this week that Gerard’s supposed new love Clara Chia Mart was pictured in the ex-couple’s family home prior to their split.

Shakira appears to be reacting to the news with her latest clap back.

It comes after she was accused of ‘internalised misogyny’ after revealing the lyrics in her new song which seemingly take a swipe at Clara.

One said: ‘The new Shakira song screams internalised misogyny and a bitter divorcee. let it go woman.’

Another who shared an article about the song said: ‘Really, Shakira? #misogyny.’

Someone else wrote: ‘Shakira objectifies and objectifies herself by denigrating her ex’s new partner under the phrase ‘change a Rolex for a Casio’. We are humans not objects. There is nothing empowering in being mean to another woman. You have to know how to leave.’

Another continued referring to Clara: ‘A woman who has the right to be with whoever she wants because people don’t belong to anyone.’

However others defended her for speaking out, as one Tweeted: ‘What is happening with Session 53 of Bzrp and Shakira only shows that there is still a level of misogyny, of those who prefer that a woman carry out her process in silence and without bothering anyone.’

Since the break-up, Gerard has been spotted pᴀssionately kissing his new love interest Clara as they appear to be far from hiding their new relationship.

In an apparent brutal dig at the former Manchester United and Barcelona defender, Shakira sings: ‘A lot of gyms. But work your brain a little bit too.’

Shakira makes another clear allusion to Clara with the lyrics: ‘She’s got the name of a good person. Clearly is not how it sounds.

‘Clearly’ in English translates as ‘Claramente’ in Spanish, clearly referencing Clara, as one fan pointed out.

Elsewhere Shakira, who is facing a £12 million tax fraud trial in Spain, sings: ‘You left me the mother-in-law as a neighbour. With the press at my door and a debt with the taxman.

‘You thought you’d hurt me and I came back stronger. Women don’t cry any more, women invoice.’

Another part of the song says: ‘From love to hate there’s only one step’ before Shakira adds: ‘No hard feelings baby, I wish you the best with my supposed replacement.’

Only a small part of the lyrics had been leaked online ahead of the world release, referencing a part of the song where the mum-of-two sings: ‘I’m too big for you, that’s why you’re with someone just like you’ before continuing: ‘I’m not coming back to you, even if you’re crying or begging.’

She also used another play-on-words in Spanish with the word ‘salpique’ in a clear reference to her ex, singing: ‘I only make music, sorry that I splash you’ which in Spanish is ‘Yo solo hago música perdón que te salpique.’

Gerard, who fathered two sons with Shakira during their 11-year relationship, appeared to respond to the poisoned darts thrown in his and his new partner’s direction ahead of the song’s full release with a tweet featuring circus emoticons.

It is not the first time Shakira has seemingly shaded Gerard in her music after making reference to a ‘necessary’ split with an ex who is as ‘cold as Christmas’ in her song Monotonía.

The song, meaning Monotony in English, starts with Shakira singing in Spanish: ‘It wasn’t your fault, nor was it mine. It was monotony’s fault. I never said anything but it hurt me. I knew this would happen.’

She then alludes to the relationship being over before it ended, singing: ‘It’s a necessary goodbye. What used to be incredible became routine.

‘Your lips don’t taste of anything to me. Now it’s the complete opposite.’

Appearing to reference the end of her relationship, she says: ‘You left me because of your narcissism. You forgot what you used to be.

‘Distant with your atтιтude, and that filled me with worry. You didn’t give even half. I know I gave more than you.’

In the music video, Shakira walks dejectedly through a supermarket with tears in her eyes before being sH๏τ through the chest by bazooka by a mystery man.

Symbolising her heartbreak, she walks through the streets with a hole in her chest,  holding her bloody heart in her hand, before someone stamps down on it.

Shakira also took an apparent swipe at Gerard as she penned an Instagram post about healing after betrayal on New Year’s Day.

Starting the New Year off on a positive note, she wrote: ‘Even if our are still open in this new year, time has surgeon’s hands. Even if someone has betrayed us, we must continue to trust others.’

She continued: ‘When faced with contempt, continue to know your worth. Because there are more good people than indecent ones. More people with empathy than indifference.

‘The ones who leave are fewer than the many who stay by our side. Our tears are not in vain, they water the soil our future will spring from and make us more human, so that even while suffering heartache we can continue to love. Shak.’

Elsewhere, video footage also recently emerged which is said to show Gerard’s new girlfriend in the footballer’s family home before his split from Shakira.
