Singer Burna Boy has set a new record for African music as he became the fastest one to achieve this with his album ‘Love Damini’.

Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and performer Burna Boy has set a new record for African music on the digital streaming platform Spotify as he became the Fastest African artist to hit 600 million streams with the album ‘Love Damini.’

Love Damini’ became the fastest African album to hit and surpass 600 million streams on Spotify after its release in July 2022. This was accomplished in less than a year of the release of the album that contained some of the biggest songs on the continent today.

Some of which include: ‘Last Last,’ ‘Common Person,’ ‘It’s Plenty’ and so on.
