Grammy-winning Nigerian artists Wizkid and Tems shut down the 2023 Essence Festival In the US with a fire perfromance of their award-winning song ‘Essence’.

The Nigerian superstars stormed the annual Essence Fest last night, Sunday, July 2, and performed their Grammy-nominated song ‘Essence’ together on stage.

The duo, Wizkid and Tems, whose collaboration ‘Essence’ became the first Nigerian song to enter the top 10 of Billboard Hot 100, performed at the festival alongside some big names like Lil Wayne.

Their performance was one of the biggest highlights of the show as they trended #9 on US Twitter after the show and were praised for delivering top-notch perfromance.

In addition to performing ‘Essence’ with Tems, Wizkid also performed some of his other hit songs like ‘Brown Skin Girl’.
