“Davido has been supporting me even before I became famous” – Ruger reveals
Afrobeats singer, Ruger opens up on how Davido Adeleke played a significant role in supporting his career even before he became a household name.
Ruger during a recent interview with Beat FM, shared insights into how the DMW leader has been instrumental in advancing his career.
This discussion arose in response to a question about The Big Five once mentioned by the record label boss in an interview, which included Ruger.
Ruger made it known that he crossed paths with Davido in 2020, before his rapid ascent to fame in 2021. He added that the A-list artist has been providing substantial support for him for an extended period, including efforts to raise awareness about his music.
In his words, “Davido is someone that has been supporting me right from the begining of my career even before I came out in 2021. He met me in 2020; heard some of my songs and liked it. He has been creating awareness for my song even before I released my first song. Burna Boy has also supported in his way in O2 2021.”
