Controversial Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington has roasted Afrobeat singer Burna Boy over the ongoing allegations with popular Lagos socialite Sophie Egbueje.

Late last night, February 27, a leaked audio recording scattered the internet, revealing a conversation in which Sophie Egbueje alleged that Burna Boy slept with her and promised to buy her a Lamborghini—a promise he failed to fulfill.

In the 40-minute audio call, the Nigerian businesswoman was also heard talking about how the musician was seen spending time with American singer, Chloe Bailey later on.

The source of the leaked audio remains unknown. In the same, the socia media personality claimed that she decided to meet Burna Boy after her friend Ama Reginald and the singer’s friend King Manny persuaded her to do so.

In the phone call, the influencer claimed that she decided to meet him because the musician had a history of spending copious amounts of money on the women he spent time with.

This audio drew attention from social media users and celebrities including Speed Darlington, who had an ongoing beef with Burna Boy.

In a video making the rounds online, Speed Darlington roasted Burna Boy, stating that he does not own a Mercedes, yet claims to want to gift someone a Lamborghini.

Furthermore, Speed Darlington questioned if the singer had ever gifted a closest associates a car, taking a jab at him.

In his words, “Na woman you wan give Lamborghini. All those hungry boys wey dey follow am up and down, he never dem them motor.”
