Trump administration plans to pay $5K ‘baby bonus’ for mothers to increase birth rate in US

The Donald Trump administration has announced its plans to pay mothers an amount of $5,000 to give birth to increase the birth rate in the US.
According to reports from the New York Times, some officials from the Trump administration have been meeting with activists and birth advocates to devise solutions, including a payment plan for mothers to help increase the birth rate.

One of the proposals agreed on is paying the mother $5000 after they gives birth.
Also, the second proposal is to give out a “National Medal of Motherhood” to mothers in the U.S. who have six or more children.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement to the Times that Trump “is proudly implementing policies to uplift American families.”
“The President wants America to be a country where all children can safely grow up and achieve the American dream,” she said.
“As a mother myself, I am proud to work for a president who is taking significant action to leave a better country for the next generation.”
