A man identified as Ogbonna, popularly known as Mourinho, has been arrested for allegedly murdering his ex-girlfriend, Chisom Ayogu, in Nsukka, Enugu State.

Sources revealed that Chisom, from Amufie in Igbo-Eze North LGA, had gone to Ogbonna’s residence on New Anglican Road, Nsukka, to inform him about her upcoming wedding.

However, the visit reportedly turned v+olent after a disagreement broke out between the two.

Eyewitnesses said Chisom was found unconscious and rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was declared de@d on arrival.

Ogbonna, a native of Igogoro community in the same Igbo-Eze North LGA, has since been taken into custody by the police for questioning.
