Nigerian lady who learnt Korean to express love for Lee Min Ho gets job with Korean government

Nigerian lady who set out to learn the Korean language just to express her love for popular Korean actor Lee Min Ho has ended up being hired by the Korean government in Nigeria.

This remarkable story was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by the user @Nekie_neka, who narrated how her admiration for Lee Min Ho led her down an unexpected career path.

According to her, she initially wanted to learn Korean so she could say a few words to the actor, like: “Hello, I love your dramas, can I call you oppa, and can I take a picture?”

However, her passion led her to fully master the language. She eventually won a Korean language speaking contest, became a Korean teacher, a content creator, an interpreter, an influencer, and finally, secured a job with the Korean government in Nigeria.

In her words: “I currently earn a living because I have a crush on a Korean actor. I wanted to be able to tell him something sweet in Korean, so I started learning the language.”

I ended up winning a speaking contest, becoming a teacher, content creator, interpreter, and now work with the Korean government in Nigeria.”

She added that the actor who swept her off her feet was none other than Lee Min Ho: “Absolutely! It’s the delectably handsome Lee Min Ho. He acted like he was owing rent for 7 years in City Hunter and made me fall completely in love with him. Unfortunately, I haven’t met him yet.”

Her story quickly went viral, with many social media users flooding the comment section to celebrate her inspiring journey and share their thoughts.
