Woman rejoices over ex-fiancé’s deportation after cancelled wedding

A Nigerian lady has stirred controversy after openly celebrating the reported deportation of her ex-fiancé, whom she accused of cancelling their wedding.
In a series of videos posted by @minceleb001 on TikTok, she expressed joy over the news, dancing and laughing at his alleged misfortune.
According to her, the man had previously called off their introduction and wedding, claiming his family believed she looked “too expensive to maintain.”
In one viral clip, she declared, “Officially, my ex-husband-to-be has been deported. Somebody shout power! This is just the beginning of his nemesis catching up with him.”
Her reaction drew mixed responses, with many social media users criticising her for rejoicing over someone’s downfall.
In another post, she defended her stance, insisting she had been wronged. She wrote: “It’s not everyone you offend and go scot-free, and I am that one person. Over here I don’t forgive. Aura for aura. I will continue mentioning your name on the altar of prayer. If I wake up at midnight and remember your matter, I will summon your name. I have never wronged you, but you decided to offend my spirit. You will forever be stagnant, and if you eventually get married, the cry of a baby won’t be heard.”

Her comments have sparked heated debate online, with some branding her reaction as spiteful while others view it as an emotional outburst from a deeply hurt person.
