Chairman Cubana Group, Obi Iyiegbu widely known as Obi Cubana has promised to change the life of the young roadside water hawker who gifted inmates (prisoners) his entire daily profit in a video that went viral on the internet.

The Philanthropist made the disclosure when he was speaking with popularly media personality and radio broadcaster Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze during an Instagram live chat as they discussed on the topic:‘’being poor’’.

The socialite said:

“The word poverty is a state of mind. There are people who are stickily wealthy and rich . If you are contented with what you have and can sleep peacefully, you are not poor. If you spend almost half of the year (about 180 days) at home without being at the hospital, you are rich.

I have learnt and practice that no single tree can ever make a forest. In trying to pull up people, you don’t lose your wealth, rather you are adding to your riches and wealth.

The best investment is in humanity, not because of the benefit financially and otherwise because at the end of the day, we will not carry anything to heaven or hell.

The greatest love is to give to the mankind. I can’t tell you that I love you and I have food stacked in my fridge while you are hungry.  People think that you give because you are rich, but it is not’’ Obi Cubana said.

He then went ahead to talk about the generous hawker who gifted the prisoners’ money.
