In a heated conversation on twitter, a fan of Lil Wayne @TwitterGod reminded persons who underrate the artist but love the music of other musician like Drake and Nicki Minaj, that they (Drake and Nicki Minaj) were introduced into the American music by Lil Wayne

@TwitterGod says “You people underrate Lil Wayne forgetting that he singlehandedly introduced Drake and Nicki Minaj to music and stardom”.

Lil signed Nicki Minaj to his record label Young Money record company, and this is where she released her three mixtapes while in the late 2000s. Since then, the two went on to release hit songs over and over again that never left the lips of many music lovers.

As at now, Nicki is still active in the music act of America although she is married to Kenny Petty with a child but Lil Wayne seems to be off the top level now in American music.
