Burna Boy’s latest album “Love, Damini” overtakes Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos” (Deluxe) on Spotify.

Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy has overtaken his Grammy-winning colleague Wizkid to hit a new milestone on global music platform, Spotify.

Burna Boy’s 2022 album “Love, Damini” has surpassed Wizkid‘s 2021 “Made In Lagos” (Deluxe) as the third most streamed Nigerian album on Spotify.

This new milestone makes Burna Boy the only Nigerian artist to have two albums in the Top 5 Most Streamed Nigerian Albums of all-time on Spotify, as his 2019 “African Giant” album ranks as the second most streamed album on the platform.

Below is a breakdown of the Top 5 Most Streamed Nigerian Albums of all-time on Spotify:

1. CKay The First by CKay: 662.8M

2. African Giant by Burna Boy: 662.3M

3. Love, Damini by Burna Boy: 584M

4. Made In Lagos (Deluxe) by Wizkid: 583.3M

5. Rave & Roses by Rema: 443.4M

As seen in the chart above, CKay has the most streamed Nigerian album of all-time, and he’s closely followed by Burna Boy with two albums taking the second and third spots. Wizkid and Rema take the fourth and fifth spots respectively.
