Nigerian singer, Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, better known as Bella Shmurda has praised seasoned rapper and music executive, Olamide.

Olamide, according to the “New Born Fela” crooner, is the only successful, globally renowned musician who continues to promote African music awards.

In a recent interview, Bella Shmurda made this statement and emphasised the necessity for Nigerian megastars to value African music awards more, regardless of whether they have received Grammy honours.

He brought up Olamide in answer to the interviewer’s query about a musician who is still promoting African music while having a fantastic career abroad.

Bella said; “Olamide is the only top artiste that is successful internationally and still supporting African music awards.”
